A Continental silver-mounted wood bowl Maker's mark IL, 19th century Cylindrical and on domed base chased with scaly-dolphins, shells and with shell and gadrooned border, the lower part and the upper part of the bowl with similarly decorated bands, with two scroll, serpent and mask drop-ring handles terminating in lion's masks, marked on base, bands and handles 12in. (31cm.) high
