A COPELAND 'JEWELLED' RETICULATED PINK-GROUND OCTAGONAL PLATE
Circa 1880, printed green monogram mark, gilt 6, signed C.F. Hürten
Finely painted with a canary in an open birdcage beside a bouquet of flowers resting on a damask draped ledge, the cavetto with gilt key-pattern, the gilt and enamelled border embossed and pierced in the Japanese taste
9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) diam.
