The field with small scattered floral bouquets and the coat-of-arms of Ernst II. Duke of Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, within a roundel inscribed FIDELITER ET CONSTANTER, beneath a royal crown flanked by lions rampant, within a border of densely scrolling foliage and flowers, embroidered in red with initial E beneath a Royal crown and number 23
