A detailed static display model of the American auxiliary fishing schooner Benjamin W. Latham (1902)
With masts, booms, standing and running rigging and full suit of stitched linen sails, fairleads, cleats, anchors, winch, horse, belaying rails and pins, hatches, bilge pumps, two dories, deck lights, saloon and coach roof, helm, exhaust pipe and other details. The hull, with twin shafts with 'A' brackets, three blade propellors and rudder is finished in red, black, white and varnish and mounted on two turned brass columns -- 28 x 33in. (71 x 85cm.) Note : The schooner Benjamin W. Latham was designed by McMannus for a Noank Connecticut owner and built by Tarr and James, Essex, Mass 1902/3
