The rectangular quarter-veneered, crossbanded and chequer-strung top with a low gallery above a panelled frieze with a long drawer, each side with black japanned and gilt-brass ring handles and panels of ebonised fruitwood, on slender square tapering legs with brass ball feet, the top re-backed on plywood, with restorations
