A FACTORY ENGRAVED .31 COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER, SERIAL No. 2265258 for 1864
Sighted barrel with roll-marked Colt address, Stagecoach scene on five-shot cylinder, varnished burl walnut grips, engraved with scrolls highlighted by stippled grounds on barrel, lever, wedge, frame, trigger guard and backstrap, hammer with wolf's head, marked E on barrel lug, frame and trigger guard.

Replaced fore-sight, barrel "backed" slightly, light staining, vivid cylinder scene, matching throughout.
