JIAQING PERIOD (1796-1820)
Of compressed globular form, with upright S-scroll strap handles and supported by three cabriole legs, decorated with broad bands of lotus scrolls interspersed with ribbon-tied Buddhist emblems, between borders of linked ruyi-heads and key-fret, the hall mark in archaic script reading jing jin tang zhi, in a single line along the front of the galleried rim, the underside with a central flower head surrounded by a pink enamelled floral scroll
