Late Qing Dynasty, the lions Kangxi
The wine cup fitted in a deep octagonal stand pierced at the top with an aperture, decorated with the ba jixiang, the eight buddhist symbols, on a turquoise ground, rim crack, 6.2 cm. high; and a pair of blanc-de-Chine joss-stickholders modelled as buddhistic lions seated on their haunches, the rectangular base surmounted by a tapering cylindrical holder, minute chips and cracks, 13.2 cm. high (4)
