Painted to the centre with the arms of Mechelen, inscribed 'Amsteldam' (Amsterdam) underneath, on a ground of birds, butterflies and flowers, within a moulded floriform border with panels of figures in gardens alternating with jardinières and vases of flowers, on a diaper pattern ground, rim frittings and chips
