A FINE INDIAN SMALL-SWORD MADE FOR THE EUROPEAN MARKET
Circa 1770
With slender blade of hollow triangular section etched on each side of the forte with trophies and floral sprays retaining some gilding, the blued hilt with solid shaped oval shell and finely gold-inlaid throughout with running patterns of flowers and foliage, and with a spiral band of interlaced foliated scrolls on the solid grip (scattered minor rust spots and pitting)
