A FINE PAIR OF FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOLS BY EZEKIEL BAKER, LONDON, GUNMAKER TO H.R.H. THE PRINCE REGENT

With browned twist octagonal sighted barrels slightly swamped at the muzzle and inscribed 'Gun Maker to H.R.H. the Prince Regent', case-hardened patent breeches with gold-filled maker's stamp, gold line and platinum vent, engraved breech tangs incorporating the back-sight, engraved bolted case-hardened patent locks each with gold-filled maker's stamp, roller and rainproof pan (one safety-catch incomplete), figured walnut half-stocks, flat-sided chequered butts, blued steel mounts finely engraved en suite with the locks, including trigger-plates with pineapple finial, silver fore-end caps and vacant escutcheons, original horn-tipped ramrods, and in unfired condition, London proof marks: in a lined and fitted case.
