A FINE PAIR OF YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE CANDLESTICKS
IRON-RED QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD
Each finely enamelled around the bell-shaped base and the larger dished section with beribboned Buddhist emblems evenly interspersed among stylised lotus heads issuing from leafy scrolls, the lotus meander repeated on the smaller dished section, the neck and the interior of the large dish, all between bands of overlapping ruyi and trefoils, the vertical base encircled with a key-fret border (minor enamel flakes)
