A fine Sarouk carpet, West Persia The shaded light rust field with overall design of stylised lattice linking various palmettes enclosing polychrome bold floral sprays, hooked palmettes and arabesques, in shaded indigo border of rosette panels and floral arabesques between floral meander, zig-zag and plain stripes, very good condition 392cm. x 279cm.(12ft.10in. x 9ft.2in.)
