Lot Essay

These scenes, based on original compositions by Fragonard, were engraved and printed by Nicolas de Launay. The printed titles were Les Beignets (the cover), Le Petit Prédicateur (the base), Interieur Rustique (the front panel), l'Education est Tout (the back panel), L'Heureuse Fecondité (one end panel).
