A finely engineered 0th scale model of the Williamson Columnal Engine of 1862 built by Tubal Cain -- 10½in. (26.7 cm) high
With cylinder 5/8thin. bore x 1 1/8thin. stroke, studded stuffing boxes, double bar type crosshead guides, gibbed and cottered connecting rod, inlet and exhaust pipes, cast iron column with overmounted crankshaft, belt driven governor, and spoked flywheel. Finished in green, black, red and polished brightwork, cast plinth; and an instruction book 'Building the Williamson Engine' by Tubal Cain, signed by the author (2)
