A finely engineered 5in gauge model of the N.E.R. Worsdell Class T4 0-8-0 locomotive and tender No.2116 manufactured in the Apprentice Workshop of ICI Fibres Ltd. Pontypool under the direction of D.Ashford, 1972. --14½ x 62in (37 x 157.5cm).
With brauzed superheated copper boiler No.21121 with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, injection, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link reverse, fluted connecting and coupling rods, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, injector, whistle, quick release grate, sanding boxes, rivetting, steps, hand and lamp irons and head code boa discs. Tender details include hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, water cock, steps, hand and lamp irons. Finished in N.E.R. livery and linning. Boiler certificates issued by British Engine Boiler and Electrical Insurance Co. 1972. Show stand and firing shovel, made to the LBSC ME drawings and with NER crest livery and lining
