A French Boulle style encrier, last quarter 19th century
Of rectangular form, the platform with concave pen recess and twin square recesses for ink and pounce pots, each with covers with pineapple finials, the ogee moulded sides with foliate boulle-work overall (some losses), with female masks to front and back, the corners with Bacchic masks above scrolling feet -- 9 5/8in. (24.4cm.) wide; and an English Boulle style desk stand, early 20th century, the front with inset brass plaque with ASPREY & CO - BOND ST. -- 12in. (30.5cm.) wide (2)
