A French brass mounted mahogany bureau plat, late 19th century In the Directoire taste, the rectangular top with rounded corners inlaid with brass stringing and inset with green tooled leather top above a panel, containing a central, two short and a deep drawer with dummy drawers fronts in the arched apron, between projecting fluted rounded corners, on similar tapering legs with scroll sabots, the deep drawer being a coffre fort with simulated drawer fronts 52in.
