oval box, the cover, sides and base panels enamelled in translucent blue on an engine-turned ground engraved with horizontal wavy reeding, within translucent blue borders decorated with taille d'épargne trailing foliage, the sides similarly bordered, the cover centred by an oval polychrome enamel miniature depicting a boy unveiling a sleeping beauty, within a blue enamel border alternating gold lozenges with squares, the side pilasters similarly adorned with taille d'épargne urns
