The tapering ovoid case surmounted by the winged figure of cupid sharpening arrow heads on a grinder, a companion figure with ewer, on a waisted socle and square section base, the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes inscribed Le Sieur a Paris, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped EB
