OF LOUIS XVI STYLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Carved overall with flower-filled guilloche and foliate scrolls, the curved head and backboard with serpentine ends upholstered in close-nailed grey silk, the headboard surmounted by a pair of sirens supporting a floral swagged cartouche with interlaced L's monogram, the anthemoin-carved frieze on turned fluted legs
