rectangular box with rounded corners and convex sides, the cover and base with panels of peaked engine-turning, the sides stamped with foliate scrolls on a frosted ground within reeded surround, slightly raised engraved thumbpiece; within a later blue fabric covered and velvet lined box, the interior cover stamped Missiaglia Venezia
