The border with applied three-colour gold flowers and foliage supporting a vacant shaped cartouche, with raised scrollwork rim -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.); and a further gold thimble, the border with applied gold laurel band, the side with applied initial engraved shield-shaped cartouche, mark of Pierre Legoix, Paris circa 1800 -- 7/8 in.
