Sculpted flaring bone handle set with two garnet-studded rings, three foiled aquamarines and two rock crystals, ormolu mounted, with wavy steel blade, the scabbard covered with red velvet and mounted with scrolling ormolu, one side set with five foiled stones including two rock-crystals, two aquamarines and a topaz, the other side set with five oval chalcedony and bloodstone intaglios, with two chains and suspension hook, within original green morocco case with suede lining

The gilt-stamped presentation inscription in the case reads: FAIT ET DONNÉ PAR L. LOQUE A SON AMI LEROY L'AN 1835.
