In the Louis XV style, by Francois Linke, the shaped top inset with a panel of tooled leather within an etched and engraved moulded border with projecting angles, the arched apron quarter-veneered and containing three drawers with dummy drawers to the reverse in purplewood and applied with foliate rococo handles and bordered with trailing foliage with shell, waterfall and palm splays, the sides with inclined ribbon palm ornament, on cabriole legs with trailing ornament headed with foliage and terminating in scrolled sabots, stamped twice underneath
