The silvered regulator-type dial signed VISSIÈRE AU HAVRE (SEINE INFRE) No. 216, outer annular minute ring with Breguet-type blued steel hand, eccentric hour and seconds rings also with blued steel hands, up-and-down sector calibrated 0-49 with blued steel hand, the movement with reversed fusee, four tapering brass pillars with polished steel screws to the backplate signed VISSIÈRE No. 216, the escapement with steel helical balance spring with diamond endstone to cut bimetallic balance with four circular heat compensation weights, well made Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl with spring loaded winding cover to the base and numbered 216 within, the three-tier box with rectangular bone plaque to the front centre section signed VISSIÈRE 216 56, Rue de l'Ouest, PARIS, the inside with an interesting Italian trade label VED.
