The circular white-enamelled Roman dial within a drum case shaped as a helmet, flanked by a winged cherub with a bow and arrow on a daybed, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel strike on a bell, above a stepped plinth on bell shaped feet, restorations
