LATE 19TH CENTURY
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of gasoliers vase-lamps; the clock surmounted by a group of two putti and a dog emblematic of hunting, above a white enamelled dial signed 'C. DETOUCHE FSEUR DE L’EMPEREUR RUE ST MARTIN 228-230 A PARIS’, flanked by porcelain roundels above a hunting trophy on a shaped giltwood base and embonised plinth; the vases each of tapering form fronted by a gilt-embossed cartouche painted with putti with flowers and musical instruments, flanked by handles beneath a collar and shade, on pierced rocaille ormolu spreading bases
The clock: 24 in. (61 cm.) high; 28 ½ in. (72.5 cm.) wide; 12 ½ in. (32 cm.) deep (overall)
The lamps: 38 in. (96.5 cm.) high (including shades); 26 ¾ in. (68 cm.) high (overall)
