the elliptical dished form with raised and incised rim, a lion's mask to the fore, shaped to the rear with central anthemion flanked by leaf clasped cornucopia, the central glass-lined inkwell with domed cover cast with interlocking floral wreaths and plumed helmet finial, on two paw and three toupie feet, stamped underneath F.BARBEDIENNE -- 7.7in. (20cm.) wide, and a set of four iron fireirons (5)
