A FRENCH ORMOLU, MALACHITE AND SIMULATED MALACHITE TORCHERE
Attributed to Pierre Delbée of Maison Jansen, Paris, circa 1965 re-using a Charles X ormolu candelabra base in the manner of Thomire et Cie
The circular malachite-veneered top above a foliate-wrapped baluster stem of spreading form, on pierced acanthus cast supports and paw monopodiae centred by palmettes, on a concave-sided triangular plinth and moulded rounded triangular base
