The shaped oval top with a pierced drapery-tied foliate festoon frieze and inset with a yellow-ground porcelain dish with a central panel depicting three figures dressed in eighteenth century costume within a wooded landscape, on four bowed legs united by a serpentine-shaped undertier, on sabot feet, supported on a serpentine-shaped base, on castors, lifting to cut-brass, the underside of the porcelain with imitation interlaced L mark
