After the model by Jean-Henri Riesener, Circa 1890
Surmounted by an rectangular onyx top with rounded corners, above a frieze drawer, the reverse with a simulated drawer, the sides each with marquetry panels, on tapering octagonal legs with foliate sabots
30½ in. (77.5 cm.) high; 43¼ in. (110 cm.) wide; 24½ in. (62 cm.) deep

This centre table is a replica of the celebrated model delivered by Jean-Henri Riesener to the Garde Meuble for Queen Marie-Antoinette, later placed in the Grand Drawing-Room in the Petit Trianon by Empress Eugénie, now still in-situ
