A French ormolu-mounted parcel-gilt blue-ground faïence vase and cover
Circa 1885
The domed cover surmounted by a pine cone finial, the underside with overglazed interlaced blue LL and letters a/s, above a slender neck, the bulbous body with a scène galante and flying putti, signed F. Bellanger to the left hand side, on a spreading circular socle, on a shaped square plinth flanked to each side by intertwined cornucopiae
