A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED SEVRES-PATTERN PORCELAIN CENTREPIECE

Of oval shape, the dish decorated to the centre with a scene of a courting couple by a river, within a dark-blue-ground border painted with panels of flowers, with a foliate-scrolling handle to each side, supported on a laurel-cast base hung with foliate festoons, on scrolling feet, the porcelain with puce Château de Longare stamp, the ormolu variously stamped LHENRY B FRANCE
