The waffle-type indentations extending down the sides to meet a part gilded scene from the fable, The Fox and the Stork -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.); and five further silver thimbles, various nationalities, including one with applied enamel plaque commemmorating the French occupation of New Caledonia, another with applied soldier and another with applied bust portrait plaque -- 1 in.
