Elongated rectangular, with canted corners, the guilloché panels surrounded by borders of chased vines and scrolls, marked on bezel, inside wall and base with indistinct maker's mark; together with a Swiss gold and enamel boîte-à-rouge, circa 1780, circular with engine-turned panels framed by blue enamel and foliate borders, marked inside base and cover with prestige marks
