A FRENCH WALNUT BOX SEAT CHAIR
19th Century
the back with a moulded toprail above a panel carved with flaming torches hung with beads and flowerheads and stylised acanthus and punch heightened with stars flanked by leaf carved turreted stiles, with moulded arms and later hinged oak seat, with linenfold panelled front and sides on block feet, both back legs spliced, the left front upright probably of a later date, most of the rail of a later date
