A George III carved mahogany stick barometer, late 18th century
The arched case with canted and fluted angles flanking a brass dial with rosette engraving around the screw heads, the trunk angles also canted and carved in low relief with quatrefoils, the exposed tube overlaid with a carved trellis work, with fluted cistern cover -- 36½in. (92cm.) high
