The cylindrical cream-ware body printed in red with figures in rural landscape of two boys fishing with a woman and child seated beneath a tree, the interior printed with a scrolling acanthus and grotesque mask border, the hinged domed silver cover with fluted border and inset with a silver-gilt coin within a hexagonal cartouche, with hippocamp thumbpiece, marked on cover
