A GEORGE I/II IRISH SILVER TAZZA, maker's mark of William Newenham, Cork, circa 1720, circular with molded rim on partly molded spreading circular base, the ground engraved with coat of arms, helm and crest above, within lush foliate scroll and bellflower surround, reverse engraved with initials S D and scratch weight 28"2, and prick engraved initials FCS--9¾in. (24.7cm.) diam., 23.5oz.
