The cover with engraved brass plaque 'THE RIGHT HON. EARL MANSFIELD,' the lock plate stamped 'J.BRAMAH PATENT', the interior cover with bone handle and underside applied with printed paper label 'BOUGHT OF N.MIDDLETON/POCKET BOOK MAKER TO THE KING AND PRINCE OF WALES AT NO.162, THE CORNER OF STRAND LANE OPPOSITE THE NEW CHURCH IN YE STRAND'

Together with a Victorian burr-walnut stationary casket, retailed by Houghton & Gunn, Circa 1890, the fall front with lock plate stamped 'BATSON/715/PATENT/LONDON', the interior with divisions and recesses -- 16 in.
