A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CONSOLE TABLE, the semi-elliptical fossil marble top banded in red fossil marble and crossbanded with satinwood and ebonised lines, the frieze with simulated arcading and on slightly scrolled panelled legs headed by elongated stiff leaves and swag drapery joined by a pierced serpentine stretcher centred by a later draped urn, on paw feet, repairs to stretcher, the reverse with 1933 catalogue text and a newspaper cutting, possibly previously with decoration
