The square top with gallery inlaid to the top with brass stringing, over a pierced interlocking fretwork apron with a later dished candle slide to one side, on square legs with pierced interlocking fretwork and C-scroll angles, inscribed in yellow chalk 1940-104 and in pencil 40-1862, an obliterated inscription above ...Charles &/Pom...man, previously with a stretcher, the angle-brackets largely replaced
