The rectangular padded seat covered in buttoned floral-patterned material, above serpentine seatrails, on cabriole legs painted with a Queen's crown above a monogram '...A(?) R', the decoration refreshed

Lot Essay

The painted monogram on this stool may be 'AR', below a Queen's crown, which may relate to Adelaide, daughter of George, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and Queen of William IV (d. 1837).
