With chinoiserie decorated case, the 32.5 cm. wide cut-away brass dial with silvered chapter ring, engraved centre with date aperture and subsidiary seconds ring above, signed on a convex disc in the arch Allan Fowlds/KILMARNOCK, the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell, case redecorated, seatboard replaced; pendulum, two brass weights
