Oval and on a pierced gallery foot with gadrooned border, the sides pierced with panels of flower heads, lattice-work and scrolls divided by embossed beaded ribs, the rim chased with a shell and gadrooned border, the pierced swing handle issuing from cast shell-form hinges, the centre enngraved with a crest and motto within a scrolled cartouche
