Olbong with an egg and dart border, with two reeded scroll handle, engraved with a depiction of the Phoenix Fire office above an inscription and within foliate scroll motifs, further engraved with two coats-of-arms, marked on back

The inscription reads: 'PRESENTED TO THOMAS LEVERTON ESQR 16 JAN 1811 BY THE PHOENIX FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY IN TESTIMONY OF HIS ZEALOUS & BENEFICIAL SERVICES DURING THE PERIOD OF NEARLY THIRTY YEARS'
