The rectangular, removable upper section with three-quarter gallery and shelf above four short mahogany-lined drawers, the base with a hinged sloping flap lined with green baize, the right end enclosing two mahogany-lined drawers, the lower drawer fitted with compartments for pens and ink-wells, on square tapering legs, with brass caps and castors, the underside of one drawer with printed paper label 'G.GARDENER, Antique Furniture warehouses, 209 & 211, Brompton Rd. London, S.W.'
