The circular rim stamped 'GR' beneath a crown '182', 'WR' beneath a crown and 'IV', 'GR' beneath a crown, '82' and 'VR' beneath a crown, with ring-turned decoration and carrying-handles to each side

Lot Essay
A peck is an Imperial unit of measurement. Its liquid equivalent is two gallons which is just over nine litres. Four pecks made up one bushel, the standard unit of measuring wheat.
