A George IV teapot
of compressed moulded circular form, on floral and foliate-capped lion's paw feet and with a chased squat rising curved spout, gadrooned rim, wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with ivory finial, the body chased with flowers, fruit, foliage and C-scrolls and with a vacant cartouche, maker's initials T.D., London 1822 - 4½in. (11.50cm.), 13.75oz. gross.
